Miller Dough is one baker, seven years of practice, and a belief that good food should nourish the body and awaken the senses.

It started in 2018, in a little bakery in Ireland. Heather Miller tasted real artisan sourdough — fresh bread and delicate pastries made the slow, traditional way — and something clicked. That experience stayed with her long after she came home.

So she taught herself. YouTube tutorials, stacks of cookbooks, and an online sourdough school based in Europe. Loaf after loaf, year after year, she refined her craft — selling bread at the Watford City farmers market for four seasons and catering private events along the way.

Heather is a mother of six, and her family’s health has always come first. That’s why every Miller Dough product starts with the highest-quality ingredients and the time real fermentation demands — no shortcuts, no fillers.

Today, Miller Dough Artisan Bakery is her way of bringing that same magic she first felt in Ireland to the wider Williston–Watford City community: bread, donuts, toasts, and grazing tables made entirely by hand.
